You pay to ask, not to read

Asking a question is what takes the work, so it is what a plan buys. Reading and challenging published questions is free, and a paid workspace has room for as many people as you like.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Can I try SwingFactor for free?
Yes, two ways. Observer is free for good, not a trial: it reads and challenges questions other people have published. To ask your own, Investigator and Institute each come with a seven-day free trial, once per person.
What counts as a question?
A question is a decision you put to SwingFactor to be modelled. Investigator includes one a month and Institute five; reading and challenging published questions never uses the allowance. Deleting a question does not give that month’s question back.
How many people can use a workspace?
As many as you like on Investigator and Institute — the plans are priced by questions, not seats. People join as an owner, an editor or a viewer. One subscription covers one workspace.
Can I add questions without moving to a bigger plan?
On Institute, yes: each extra question a month is £20 a month or £200 a year, and is added to your allowance every month for as long as you keep it. Investigator does not sell extra questions; moving to Institute is the way to ask more.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, from billing settings in the app. Moving to a smaller plan takes nothing away: everything you have already modelled stays where it is.
How does billing work?
Plans are sold to businesses, billed monthly or annually in pounds sterling, through Stripe. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout. An annual plan costs ten months’ worth.
